About Specialized Copyediting, LLC

Specialized Copyediting, LLC was conceived as a freelance service to help businesses, organizations, and individuals who need copyediting help with their writing, regardless of the size of the project or the venue of publication.

My background includes an MBA in Finance (see my résumé) and experience writing and copyediting for top management in both American and foreign businesses.

FOR BUSINESS: Specialized Copyediting, LLC is well suited to small and medium-size businesses that do not have a professional copyeditor on staff but require copyediting services on a one-time or recurrent basis. Help may be needed with something as small as a marketing letter or something as large as a position paper or multi-section website.

FOR INDIVIDUALS: I work with individuals who need copyediting on a wide range of projects, from something as simple as a “personal statement” as part of an application to something as complex as a master’s thesis. Service is personalized, and there can be as much or as little interaction as the clients likes—we can work together over the phone, or the project can be copyedited and sent back without any additional communication.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE: I have extensive experience in working with the writing of foreign business executives and individuals for whom English is not a first language. I can help you express your ideas and messages flawlessly in English for maximum effect.
